Sofspra was a nationwide, self-serve car wash chain established in the 1960s. The round lights on top of the sign used to be sequentially lit according to which slots were available for washing your car. I wonder if the palm tree is as old as the carwash? Downtown Encinitas is modernizing its storefroonts but I hope Sofspra will endure for a few more decades.

I'm happy to be able to now offer quality prints of the original painting. The print is a standard frame size of 9x12 in order to make frame affordable for collectors.

My prints are carefully crafted using 310gsm BRIGHT WHITE VELVET FINE ART PAPER, 100% COTTON. This 310g, Bright White, water-resistant velvet fine art paper is made from 100% cotton fiber and is acid and lignin free. Elegance Velvet is a proprietary mouldmade fine art paper that is strong and dimensionally stable. It has a high white point, remarkable ink load capacity, and best-in-class image quality that far exceeds the limitations of virtually every paper of its kind. All the fanciness aside, the printing is so well-done that it looks like the orginal.
