“Reverie” | 50"x40" | oil on canvas | Inspiration sometimes comes in seemingly mundane passing moments. Awhile ago, I saw a girl at 7-11 wearing a pair of swanky striped pants purchasing a Big Gulp. Later on that same day, I didn’t see her but a couple of friends hanging out at the beach, deep in conversation, enjoying that easy intimacy that only years of friendship offers. I thought maybe I’ll paint that moment and throw in those cool pants ;)
