Leucadia Donuts was the first in a series of hometown haunts that I decided to paint. I scouted out places that had a mid century feel, that are easily overlooked relics of our neighborhood. I hoped to paint them in a light that may offer a different way of seeing their simplistic beauty. Of course, most go inside for the experience of eating a sweet, warm, freshly made donut, but there's quite a bit of charm on the outside too.
The original painting was snatched up quickly but I'm happy to be able to offer quality prints now.
