Great Horned Owl | 6x6 oil and mixed media on canvas board| This majestic creature has found its way from the wooded areas into the suburbs and, humble brag, I have a pair that visit my yard in the wee hours of the evening. It's quite the event in my household when they arrive with their haunting woo-woos. And by quite the event, I mean, I'm the only one jumping out of bed to join them and sometimes my bird-loving daughter, if she's in town. We are so lucky to have them visit when they do.
