"A Winter Walk" (9x12x1.5) oil on canvas. This painting was inspired by one of my many walks with my dog on the trails around my home. Winter produces the most spectacular light at sunset. It drenches the foliage in bright oranges and ambers, turning a humble path into a breathtaking scene. This small painting is part of a series where I am experimenting with a technique of not blending my colors. Each brushstruck is left unto itself to be its own color against another.
