“Sisterhood” (36x48 oil on canvas) Inspired by Women’s History Month, I started at the beginning of March on this painting. I believe I am drawn to the female image because I am constantly amazed by women and continually inspired by, supported by, and influenced by the indomitable spirit of the women in my life. We are each on different paths, carrying different burdens, reaching for different dreams but continue to be there for each other like sisters. This piece represents my gratitude to all the women I've been lucky to know.
