These skeletal feathered fish are a further exploration of the life retained by remains of something that was. It is a theme I borrowed from O'Keeffe. Perhaps both the bones and the feathers relate to different creatures that were once living but I looked at the feather as a way implying there was still life in those bones, life that could now move the fish to fly.
