The "Knee Deep" paintings are both painted in acrylic and oil on 12x12 wood panels. These two are part of a series where I am explorating the marriage of abstract and representational painting. There is no place that I love more than the ocean and these two were inspired by Zac Brown Band's song "Knee Deep"... "Wishing I was knee deep in the water somewhere Got the blue sky breeze and it don't seem fair Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair Sunrise there's a fire in the sky Never been so happy Never felt so high And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise."
